Colorado Shares Updated Radon Documents with Clients and Citizens

Contributed by Chrys Kelly

I now have the attached documents in color for distribution to your Colorado clients and/or citizens. If you are a member of radonleaders.org, please log in to see the documents. Others may contact me for information at the address given at the end of this article. The Colorado Real Estate brochure has been updated and may be be used in real estate inspections for realtors, home buyers and home sellers rather than the old EPA home buyers and sellers guide. This brochure is available in Spanish also.

We are currently working on a Colorado combined version of the EPA Citizens Guide/How to Fix Your Home brochures that we hope to have done in the fall.

The infographic (recently developed after listening to input from numerous public focus groups by the Boulder County Health Department) is the new Colorado Infographic for distribution to clients and/or citizens. It is a cardstock 5.5" x 8.5" radon informational flier that you can add your own logo/contact information to on the reverse side. Please do leave the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment telephone phone number visible when you modify the information.

Lastly, is our 5.5" x 8.5" cardstock Low Income Radon Mitigation Assistance (LIRMA) advertisement. Please help us get the word out about this wonderful program! We are also still looking for additional radon mitigation contractors to participate in the program, if you are interested, check it out on our website at https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/cdphe/low-income-radon-mitigation-assistance

If you would like copies of any of these documents (free to Colorado communities), just let me know how many and where to mail them.
