-2011 Advocacy Summit Participants

The National Lung Cancer Partnership welcomed about 50 lung cancer advocates to Denver from April 28 - May 1 for our 2011 Lung Cancer Advocacy Summit.

At this conference, advocates learned about how they can work with the Partnership to help defeat lung cancer and brainstormed ways to expand the movement.

Advocates also had the opportunity to get a first-hand look at the research their efforts are funding by touring a University of Colorado - Denver research facility.
There, they met two of the Partnership’s Young Investigator Research Grant recipients and learned about the different types of research currently being conducted in the lung cancer field.

A huge thank-you to everyone who attended and helped make this year's Advocacy Summit a success!
