These products looked poised for adding a little more airflow for a passive pipe open to in a coarse clean gravel plane with tight boundaries, and the expanding Canadian / international market. I have made my own dilution discharges and think there is a good argument for sidewalk exhaust where appropriate. Radon data development with low cost averaging electronic alarms and other devices should alert to the need for raising the discharge or enclosing the blower in an tight sound box. What's the problem?Hmmm...Jack Bartholomew Jr.Sent from my HTC on the Now Network from Sprint!----- Reply message -----From: "Tim Pittman" Date: Tue, Sep 6, 2011 7:53 amSubject: [RNPROF] Two new "Radon Fans"To: This just goes to show you....for those who don't frequent the ebay sites.....you can buy absolutely anything that you can imagine, but of course buyer beware.....you can buy used surgical instruments, space shuttle tiles, and submarines. The scary thing about this is that Tjernlund generally makes pretty good stuff.  I have installed quite a few of their powered foundation vents and various ventilation fans with good results and no callbacks.  I wonder if they really understand that they are advocating homeowners try to deal with a potentially life threatening substance themselves with equipment and recommended and described methods that don't meet even the most basic EPA or ASTM recommendations or guidelines (at least not as I understand them).  Sounds like they are opening themselves up for a lot of liability. On Mon, Sep 5, 2011 at 10:28 PM, Tony Kiburis wrote:> Hi Friends,>> Check out this URL; this firm, Tjernlund, from White Bear Lake, MN, > they have two interesting radon fans:> 1.
