Tony - below is text from one of my papers that gives the formula, and an example for you to check that you're calculating correctly. For Rn-222, I calculate that 1 Bq (60 dpm) is 1.75 E-16 grams or 6.5 E-18 grams per pCi. This formula works for all radionuclides, just make sure the units are consistent (half-life in minutes if using dpm activity). The formula and text below explains why, even though U-238 comprises nearly all of the U mass, its activity is equivalent to U-234 (due to its shorter half-life). - Mike Kitto

All,
I know pCi/l is a measure of radio activity and PPB is a measure of volume. However is it possible to convert from one to the other? I found an article here that Is for Strontium 90 but I am not sure if it is a correct formula. It is also in pCi/G instead of pCi/L. I would ultimately like to know that 1 pCi/L = “X” PPB.
Any help would be appreciated.
