Representatives of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission invited CRCPD and an EPA representative to participate in the International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) technical meeting in Vienna, Austria, on December 15 & 16, 2009. The purpose of the meeting was the revision of the Basic Safety Standards (BSS) on radon and the impact on current regulatory requirements.
