I wasn't able to get soil based radon in the story, or more specifically, I talked about it but they use only a very tiny percentage of the film they shoot.
The second story did better, including a link to AARST!

And both stories showed home radon kits in use. No doubt a few high radon homes will be found because homeowners tested their kitchens.
